“Tristan + Madison are our next featured engaged couple. We photographed T+M over the summer in downtown Chicago. With an abundance of overflowing chemistry for one another ( Madison was often giggling and laughing… it was cute ) we soon realized these two were head over heels, madly in love. During our initial meeting, we met with just Madison, as Tristan was away at school finishing up his Masters degree in Bloomington at Illinois State University. When discussing engagement ideas, we asked Madison to tell us a little about Tristan. She glowed with excitement after the first few words describing Tristan came out ( and without hesitation she ran out to her car to grab a photo snapshot of him to show us what Tristan looked like. ) She went on telling us how the two of them first met while completing their undergrad college degrees and living in the dorms at ISU. We also learned both Tristan + Madison are both creative and definitely artistic. We always love working with creative people.

 

Tristan is a talented musician and music education major who told us he owns a number of guitars… undoubtedly he had a difficult time deciding which one guitar was his favorite to bring along with him as a prop for the shoot. Outside of music he also enjoys rock climbing. Madison also artistic is a graphic designer who designs for a downtown Chicago based educational products and toy company… a seemingly perfect fit for her positive and bubbly personality. Madison surprised us bringing along a few love oriented elements like her personally customized I ♥ …. Converse All Star Chuck Taylor’s and her all you need is love t-shirt. Thanks Madison for the little touches… it will be fun to see the future creative details you are planning on incorporating into the wedding day. Madison already mentioned styling the groomsmen in a little something special… which is a surprise. We love it when brides take their own distinctive style and implement it into their wedding day making it their own!

 

Overall, we had a blast out on the shoot. T+M you guys are adorable together and we can’t wait for your wedding. Thanks Tristan + Madison in hiring us as your engagement and wedding photographers. Tristan + Madison are getting married in May 2011. Their ceremony will take place in Tinley Park, Illinois and wedding reception at Idlewild Country Club in Flossmoor.

“Busy wedding season is here and we have several new, fun couple’s wedding + engagement blog entries coming soon to our photo blog! ♥ Up first is last week’s Chicago engagement photography session with Chip + Tina. We had a beautiful Spring day and enjoyed the walk and talks with each other while moving from one shooting spot to the next around Soldier Field and Burnham Harbor. We really enjoyed talking to Tina and Chip learning about them and their upcoming wedding. Tina was a referral to us from one of our favorite boutique wedding dress, bridal shops in Chicagoland ( also where I purchased my wedding dress ) called White Satin Bridal. I can’t wait to see the dress she decided upon in a few days!

 

Chip has recently moved to the City from Tinley Park. Season ticket holders to the Bears, they watch many games and enjoy tailgating at Soldier Field. We learned Tina has lived in the Bridgeport neighborhood all of her life ( which isn’t too live far from both the Sox and Soldier fields. ) It was fun learning how Tina and Chip first met a few years ago at a friend’s backyard bbq party. Chip + Tina’s June Chicago wedding ceremony is at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church located within Chicago’s Bridgeport neighborhood. Their reception will follow at the elegant banquet hall Venuti’s located in Addison. We are looking forward to meeting all of Chip + Tina’s family, friends and 10 bridesmaids and 9 groomsmen. We’re going to definitely have some fun during group photos with their big, bridal party.
