“On this day out and about on Joseph + Linsey’s Chicago engagement photography session, in looking back we definitely had a little bit of luck on our side. All the elements for an ideal shoot all came together amazingly. When we first met with J+L, we spent a little time talking about not only their wedding reception plans at their venue Hotel Arista in Naperville, but we also talked about their favorite parts of our past modern Chicago engagement images to get a better feeling for their individual style. Linsey said they are especially drawn to unique and modern styled things. ( Their wedding reception venue is equally fitting to their preferred modern style as Hotel Arista is a contemporary chic hotel, the foyer is simple with clean lines + is quite luxurious, and the modern grand ballroom is amazing. ) So we learned, out of our past engagement sessions, in summary Linsey liked best our past shoot’s which incorporated bright colors + outdoor beautiful city locations to take pictures at. Plus she was saying she’d be praying for one last warmer weather day for the shoot ( and having nearly 80 degrees weather in October, that actually happened. )

Joseph + Linsey are in the middle of planning their October 2011 wedding date. The ceremony will take place at St. Francis of Assisi in Orland Park and the reception will follow at Hotel Arista. Hotel Arista, located in Naperville IL, is the Chicago western suburb’s newest, eco chic hotel.
